A world traveler by inclination, Lucia embeds what she has seen and who she is within the fabric of her creations.
Teacher, mother, artist, Lucia is passionate about weaving the tapestry of her heritage into the fabric of Los Angeles, and melding the blends of heritage into her artwork. In each of her pieces, she brings an international perspective to her very personal creations.
Lucia puts love and hard work into all of the purses, pillows, and quilts she makes. If she's not sewing, she's probably doing one of her many other hobbies. They include knitting; walking with her dog, Candy; and doing daily errands with her daughter, Marina.
Lucia's work has been featured at many different art shows and exhibits, and she has created private lines for museums, galleries and boutiques, including:
